How Much Can You Spend?

Event planning is only limited to the event planners imagination and budget.
Once an event goal and objective is set, the budget is the first big thing to determine.
The budget will directly reflect the event scale, style, entertainment, food and beverage-just to name a few.
“Tip: Never mix your personal money with event money”
The most important part for a successful event is organizing your budget properly.
Know your events expenses and income
Determine how much profit needs to be made (if applicable). For non-profit organizations it should be between 15-30%
“Tip: regularly check websites for special offers to save money where you can”
Other considerations that will affect your budget:

• Location

• Date
• Season
• Time of the day
• Supplies

If an event budget is not enough for the goals another options is to partner with another company and to design an event that combines both of there goals. Fundraising and getting donations is also another option.
“Tip: It is better to hold off an event until a proper budget is acquired, then to portray your company image in a negative way through a flop event.”
